tech question about the site's coding

when i click the "chat room" link on the top of the page i get an error message, the same one every person who doesn't use IE sees:

"The adress type is unknown or unsupported: 'aim:gochat?roomname=V6comChat'"

its the same for any link anywhere that it supposed to open an AIM window. I know that stephan personally didnt code the site (UBB did i think) but i was wondering if any techie guys could tell me if there is a way for it to work for us firefox/opera/linux/mozilla/etc. users?

Do you have AIM installed? From the error message it sounds like you either don't have it installed, or that you might have an old old version of AIM.

click on yourself on your buddy list, then hit the "chat" button, the one that looks like an orgy...

Then you gotta just put in V6comChat for the name and that'll put you right in it.

Almost sounds like you don't have firefox configured to open aim for that type of link.
