I don't know what most of the people here are talking about, but a 21,9 sticker price on a 02 Hawk is not a bad price at all, for a Hawk that is. If you're just looking for an LS1, you could get a base Formula for easily under 15k. An 02 Trans Am, maybe anywhere from 16-19k. A 02 Hawk, 22k isn't bad. And remember, thats a sticker price. With some good negotiation, you can walk out the door for 20k.

97 firehawks could be had with the Lt4.

the price seems about right to me. they sell for around that price here all the time. the cheapest ive seen was a 01 firehawk for 13K that i was looking at.

as for the spoiler, all firehawks came with the high rise spoiler. i think it was a couple inches taller than the T/a spoiler though. ive seen hundreds of Firehawks and ive never personally seen one that had a molded spoiler.

01/02 T/A's around here are between $19k and $27K depending if its low miles and a WS6. People are asking rediculously high prices for very low milage WS6's. Thats why I ended up with the Cobra.... TA prices were much higher and they werent willing to negotiate.

Check out the heads casting numbers on the front of the heads.. If it is a 241 then its a 01-02 LS1 head.. if its 243 then its a LS6 head.. as far as the motor goes you will have to find the numbers on the block..21,000 is a good price for a 02 Hawk.. they are the best..

The normal spoiler for a 02 Hawk is a high spoiler, but there is no space between the bottom of the spoiler and the top of the decklid. It's kinda like a big version of a formula/firebird spoiler. There was another spoiler, offered only on the Formula's that were made into Firehawks I think. It basically has 2 levels, but again there is no space. Very weird looking, and kinda ugly in my oppinion. I'll see if I can find a pic of the two.

Here's a shot of the 02 Hawk "IROC" spoiler

Here's one of the "weird" spoiler
                          And another

I found out the the weird spoiler was only offered on 2000 Hawks (and possibly 99s).
