A Biak Green Tree Python to be exact. A local pet store called Animal Dreams has one in stock $450 for the snake alone. It's a georgous snake, still young. I was wondering if anybody had any care/handling advice that you could give me, or any informaton you might have on these snakes.

I had a roommate once that took in his girlfriend's snake (her parents wouldn't let her keep it). I don't recall the type or length, but it was HUGE. I mean 4 - 6 inches diameter (as far as I remember). They fed it live rabbits.

The snake was able to lift the top of the cage and crawl out! So my roommate put a 25lb weight on each corner of the top of the cage. In the middle of the night, we would hear "ka-chink, ka-chink" as the snake lifted the weights up! I would have nasty *** night-mares about that thing. Totally creeped me out. I would NEVER get a snake. It was kind of a worthless pet too, unless you like watching rabbits try to run from a snake (which I do not).

        Here ya go

I have a snake, i love him. He's a ball python, should be about 5 feet long. Not to big, but not small either. He's about 4 feet now, gets an adult mouse every week. Not that hard to take care of. Change his water, turn on/off heat lamp.
