Yes, you knew it was coming. why the "beep" is this movie rated pg-13? I jsut saw the trailer on tv and it said rated pg 13, what are we coming too? WHATS NEXT? huh? is the next freddy or jason movie gonna be rated pg 13? Im tired of people ruining movies to cater to younger dill holes, this move would have made as much money rated r or pg13 cause frankly die hard alien and predator fans are not gonna go see a pg13 movie. This is dumb ive been waiting for this movie since production began back in 2000 and now after 4 years its ruined, top it off i heard son of chucky is gonna be pg13 too. ratings and dumb parents who shelter their kids are ruining the motion picture industry. doesnt anyone ever notice that the kids that snap and kill everyone are sheltered kids. "beep" it I just wait for the rated r batman begins to come out next year. and yes i made this thread pg13 for you guys who are gonna complain that you hate violence and im dumb and then go back to suckin on your mommies beeppppppppppppppppppppppppp

Marketing.... the youth has soooo much more buying power than 5-10 years ago. Cater to them... make lots of money!

By making it R rated you would "technically" lose out on the 14-17 crowd.

But yes, I want blood n guts n gore, but I'll live with it.... just so I can see the clash of such titans :D

have you ever thought that it's rated PG13 because society has become more decensitized to violence, and pretty much any teen has seen/heard/played violent entertainment? I love the Alien series' and I'm gonna see it anyways. I just think that rated R refers to more sexual entertainment. But I'm probably wrong. Either way, I gotta see this movie. The trailer shows a lot of violence

Godzilla and Star Wars were ruined the same way. At least the old Star Wars were half way decent, but the new ones are so horrid to watch. It's like I'm watching nickolodeon(sp).

I will still go see it. Obviously with no gore it will take away from the movie. The first Alien and the first Predator were one of my favorite movies. If they make this a kids movie I'll be pissed. I noticed that every blockbuster movie is now PG-13. Check out the top movies and ratings. http://movies.yahoo.com/ Just part of the pussification of this country. I'm with you on this.

R rating is also for violence and language. So far all the Alien and Predator movies were rated R. And since I didn't see any nudity or excessive language I guess it's mostly for violence. So I'm suffering cause some mama's boy has to see it also.

BTW, my buddy will be in the next batman movie. Playing SWAT guy.

Alien vs. Predator has been around since the late 80's or early 90's as a video game. A couple of comic books came out too on it. I didn't get a chance to get a copy.

I think the movie should be interesting. I would go hit it.

haha Sadly thats probably true. I met abunch of kids when I went back to austin. 13yrs old and 2 weren't virgins lol. One of them even had a girlfriend of 2 years haha.
