      Or keep in a garage

I could be wrong but there's no such thing as a waterproof car cover. I've looked myself. Unless if you like turp.

A cover has to breathe especially in the summer so that the paint won't get ruin. Because in the summer it can get extremely hot in a car cover.

Like I said, I could be wrong.

not really...sounds good to keep water out...but it has to be able to breathe to let out moisture and humidity that builds up under it..that would do more damage than the rain..least the wind can dry the rain off eventually..if it's underwraps the moisture just sits on everything and rusts/corrodes it

They make special fabrics that repel rain but allow in air. I would not call it waterproof, but when it is raining, my car is dry. When the snow melts off my car, the cover eventually soaks through.

I don't think waterproofing your cover is a great idea. Sell yours and buy a better one if you are really worried about it.

Oh interesting... So just throwing a tarp over the car cover is a bad idea because of moisture build up? Hmm. This is the first year I am leaving my bike outside, and I covered it with blankets and a tarp. Is that bad?
