I own a 2002 camaro cp Y3F pkg, with some appearance and performance upgrades and have aprox. 39k miles on it. I also have 3 tickects and my insurance has doubled. my question is I have fallen in love with this girl who makes me melt like butter and I will probley marry her some day. Her car is all jacked up and she needs to get another one soon. I first got my ride to have something cool and nice, but now I'm with this girl, the car really is not a priority for me. should I sell my car, (to get money) and buy myself a more cost efesiant car and help get her a car. My ride out the door was $23,000.00 and I also have poord another $12,000.00 into it ,so If I can get a reasonable amount. I would have enough for two cars. Any feedback or ideals

I think you would be kinda lucky to be near the $15,000.
If you don't want the car I guess you could get rid of it but don't it because "a girl" is a priority in your life.
How long have you guys been going out? Sounds like less then 2-3 years if you bought it new before you met her.-Eric
2000 NBM V6 Camaro 5-speed T-top converted
14.467@95.45mph $0 in mods
The member formerly known as MustangEater8251

you really sound in love with her, = guessing you havent been dating too long selling your car just to get money to buy two crappy cars isnt a great idea, esp since if you ever do brake up, you will be down all the money you lost selling your car, and then ontop of that the money you spent buying her car. i wouldnt do something like that until you get married.

Sell your car for a girl?!?
That's really sweet of you, but how do you know that she's not gonna' just take the car and drive off with it? Women have ways of using guys to get what they want. Be very careful.
Unless you know 100% that she will be with you longer than you expect to keep your Camaro, don't do it. This especially applies if you aren't even married yet.

Honestly, I wouldn't look into trading in your car to help her out, unless you two were already married. I'd have no problems helping her fix her car, but you don't know for sure how she will act after you do this for her, or even if you will stay together; even though she evokes such strong emotional responses from you. Even when I knew I was getting married, I still waited until after we were to start looking for another car. There's no reason to rush into such a large purchase when you don't even know if you'd want to be married to her yet. I know you say that you might one day, but for all you know, she might tell you something tomorrow that completely changes your view of her. We can't make a decision like this for you over the internet. You're going to have to do this for yourself. This is the best advice I can give on something like this, and I hope it helps.2000 silver A4 Camaro
Whisper lid; Free Ram Air; BMR stb; MSD super conductor wires; Gatorback belt?
1986 RX-7 (daily driver)

You're asking for an appearance on Judge Judy.
Keep it separated, help her out, but don't sell your car and don't get yourself into a financial obligation to her. It's just not a good idea.Trucks
\'05 Dodge 3500 Dually Cummins Turbo Diesel
\'98 Dodge 2500 4x4 360 V8 (Wife\'s)
Toys
\'81 Chevy K10 Stroker/Swampers/Custom Suspension/1-Tons/Beadlocks
\'99 Camaro Z28 6 Spd, T-tops, Borla

Real trucks don\'t have spark plugs

Don't ever sell your car for a girl unless you are ALREADY married. You will end up getting burned no matter what. Besides you will never get that much out of your car. The most is 15,000 like
shenanigans said. Soon she will change her interests and you will be out of the picture and so will your car. Trust me man a girl isn't a reason to give up your car.
