When was the last time the # of cylinders mattered?

Both are amazing, I think the viper could get faster due to the sparks on the first run? Tighter suspension? Seems that nobody should be sparking.

I've seen that supra vid before, what kind of transmission is in there? And is it really street driveable? It seems like it only sits at one rpm.

the tranny is either a TH400 or a Powerglide and yes he drives it on the street a lot......with AEM standalone it allows the car to be very streetable which is why I have the same standalone.

Sounds and looks to me like that Supra you posted doesn't have its 6spd tranny no more, instead sounds and looks like they built up an automatic. Now, if you ask me, a 6spd car runnin those times - impressive. We all know automatics are faster in the 1/4 mile and much more consistent.

Besides, I have to ask, why do all of you Supra owners ride Markos nuts so much?

Sure those two guys are quick but I'm sure the Viper is a tad better when out of the powerband (hint not under boost) than the Supra.
