Damn, that wasn't even 3 cigs a day. Imagine what it would be like if you had smoked a pack or two a day! Keep up the good work, cigs are bad for you ya know!

When I smoked, I smoked about a pack or so a week. Then one day, I just quit cold turkey. The strange part, I didn't have any cravings at all. I also didn't get any kind of headaches, but I did get the grumpy, I'll snap your friggen neck attitude though

I smoke about 1-2 packs a week. Bad habit. One thing I hate though is the smell of cigarette on my hands after smoking. I always wash my hands afterwards, and before handling my young nephews/neices when we visit. I don't want to advocate smoking at all, but I think smoking in moderation like 1-2 cigarettes will not kill you. I used to know this guy - believe it or not -- he would smoke over 5 packs a day. I am NOT kidding you. I seen this guy in action, he would light multiple cigarettes in various parts of his work place and smoke them as he moved around the close quarters of the facility doing his job. He needed to move here and there and instead of taking the cigarette with his, he would light 3 or 4 and have them sitting in ashtrays at each tactical spot of the place. And believe me, each one of them got good inhaling action too. This is what I call really addicted. 1-2 cigarettes a day isn't like that...
My Wife used to smoke all the time too. Then, for her New Year's resolution for this year she decided to quit. So, quit she did. She used the Committ lozenges, I think 4mg strength to help with her cravings. Once she got to the point where she needed smaller doses, she bought a pill cutter and cut the doses into halves, then quarters to reduce it to 2mg then 1 mg. So, instead of paying for weaker doses at full cost, she just bought the higher dose and make them last either 2x's or 4x's longer. She's so smart!
Keep it up, I know it's not easy but I won't kiss you if you start smoking again... ;) LOL
