The only thing is is the pics don't do her justice when it comes to the before and after motor pics. You'd almost have to see it in real life to get the full effect on how sweet the motor looks with the blower and attachments sticking out like they do now. I'm gonna do the tensioners soon to for a little more motor accenting. Maybe change the plug wires again to Magnacore 8.5mm which are Red and would look nice under the hood :D Thanks for the compliments guys.

Thunderbirds are great cars. My neighbor has one and it has forged pistons, head work, chips, exhaust and other stuff done to it. Even the hood has a bulge. I should take a picture of that.

Anyway T-bird has 210 hp and over 300 torque doesn't it. I think the torque is awesome. The only problem I have with the car is that it looks too long and overweight. Ford could have made it more sporty. Other than that, it's great.

They put out somewhere around 220hp and 330 torque if i remember the stats right. They have Torque like nobodies business. They are kinda big but i like them. They are heavy but they ride like you wouldn't believe and for a car there size handle REALLY good since they have the FIRM RIDE option and BIG sway bars. Not sure what size but they are as big maybe a little bigger then my Camaro's were. Super Coupes have all Forged internals and have special heads as compared to the N/A 3.8 to take care of the added heat. You should get pics of your neighbors and see what year it is. Sounds like it's a '96/'97 bird with the bulge in the hood.I'm looking at Mach hood for mine and maybe a drop with Cobra rims. would look bada$$ when it was done. Maybe next winter though.

i'm currently hitting a consistant 11-12 but i had it pegged at 15 once on the account i happened to be going downhill. I'm looking at a 5% jackshaft pulley that will up the boost to probably 14-15 psi but when i get exhaust it will lower it down to 13-14 but it will be better power due to the exhaust work. These cars are basically a balancing act as my buddy calls it. If you do intake and blower mods, do exhaust also to balance it out. I could push boost past 15psi but then you have reliability issues and headgasket problems. i could get a 10% pulley for the blower and a 5% jackshaft and probably hit 20-22 psi but i'll blow a head gasket or worse. So you free up the exhaust alot and then do maybe a 5% Jackshaft pulley, an Underdrive pulley set, and intercooler fan and you see pretty good gains along with maybe upping the boost a bit and allowing the motor to breathe which is good for them obviously.

due to the intercooler they have the ability to go higher boost levels because they don't have to worry about heat as much as lets say the GTP. GM screwed up when they didn't intercool that setup. They REALLY would have some potential.

There's AFTERCOOLERS (lets get it right) for the GTP's. 500$ from zzperformance.

those cars are nice, really nice. I helped a friend do a head gasket because one was blown. Man that was fun work there. Then getting it fixed and going up and down the street was a blast, now just slap some 3.73 gears in that boy hehehe.

What kind of options do T-birds have when it comes to engine?

Correct me if I'm wrong, but was there a turbo 4 cycl. too? Ofcourse the V6, SC V6 and V8

But overall, I think the SC V6 is the best option.
