Go with the triple head razor. My remington straight head one doesn't compare to my Norelco triple head. Although I still get a crazy 5 o'clock shadow.
Actually, my Remington straight head shaver is a cheapy compared to my Norelco, so that may be why, yet I still say go with the triple head. And I know what you mean, not everyone has the time for a clean shave every freakin morning...
i have a braun self cleaning. you have to keep up if you want a close electric shave. if you skip a day the hair can get too long to quickly shave with the braun.
i have used a norelco in the past, and while quieter i didnt like the shave. didnt seem very close.
blades are annoying. particularly if you are trying to trim around facial hair.
My whiskers are kinda wierd, on my neck they kind of swirl on one side so the hairs point in all directions in a small area. I've found an electric rotary (that's the name for the one with 3 circular blades) works best for it. Linear ones (straight electric blades) don't catch them too well and I have to make too many passes (razor burn), and I cut myself too often with a blade trying to get them.
I use the Norelco wet shaver in the shower. The wet ones are designed to cut closer than the dry ones since the shave cream provides a nice lube layer. I don't use the expensive little Nivea packets, just regular shave cream. My skin also feels a lot better afterwards than when I used a dry shaver (tried both linear and rotary dry before).
Other advantage of shaving wet in the shower over dry electric is that you don't have little whisker bits falling all over the sink and counter when you shave. That was a pain always wiping them off.

Thew new Mach 3 M3 is an amazing thing.
If not that...Mach 3 turbo is a close second. But the new m3 really does give a better shave. I've never used an electric that even began to give me a good shave. I can shave completely with the M3 in like...2 minutes if I get a little hussel going...no kiddin. Never cut myself either.
Originally posted by articacid: They are pretty expensive. its one of those things where its like, i really wouldnt mind it, but do i feel like spending the money on it. ut i think itll be worth it getting to sleep the extra 10 mins and just being easier.
btw what color you painting it? camaro or fb?
Its gonna be black with the 30th Anniverasy Camaro SS racing stripes. It should be rolling in the paint booth tomarrow or monday to get primered and then we are going to check the body to make sure all the lil dent and dings are bondoed up good and some of the patched that we had to put in the fiberglass and metal are smooth like they should be. And hopefully it should be out and back in my hands by friday at the latest hopefully. And yes there will be pic plenty of pics.
Electric razors suck. I've got a remmington titanium it doesn't get close at all. I have a 5 oclock shadow at noon if i use it. and I get razor burn like a b**tch if I when i use it. Although it's def quicker.
Remington Titanium = pure marketing drivel. If titanium was so much stronger and tougher, how come they still want the screens and blade changed at the same intervals?

I've used a blade all my life, and never liked electrics till this winter. Blades started drying my face up too much from razor burn, so I got a cheap $40 Remington from Walmart. It's been working fine for my thus far and gets rid of the shaggy look. On days I want a close shave I can just use the blade, but other days when I just wanna get to class with 10 minutes more sleep it works perfectly fine for me.
