I got a coupon in the mail direct from Ford / Mercury (this was not some bogus dealer ad) : take a test drive of the Mercury Mariner and receive $75.
So I go to the nearest Lincoln-Mercury dealer and take the test drive. Just a plain ole 10 minute drive around Margate, Florida while I talk to the salesguy. The salesman signs the coupon; I go home and I mail it in. That was last year.
So just the other day, the pre-paid debit card arrives in the mail.
And speaking of Ford:
As it is looking right now, if GM does not have a successor to the F body in another few years, I might be driving a Mustang again at that time.
