I actually tried it too it works... I have a decent range on mine as is, but every now and then I will forget to lock and this way I don't have to walk as far back to do it.

Speaking of cheap easy mods, anyone else do the spring/hatch mod? Best $1.50 every spent!

Yea, I was thinkning the same thing. If anything hold it up to the same height as your chin and dont touch it. Should be the same you'd think.
