your heart isnt on any side of your chest... its almost in the direct middle.

Or does it just feel that way because that is which way the blood pumps out?
the center itself is offset slightly to the left, but its really just slightly - but to claim "pain from the side your heart is on" sorta indicates that its clearly on a side.
