  • Anyone here take Vitamins?

I am looking for a good multi-vitamin, but cannot make up my mind on what I want. I've taken GNC's Mega Man Vitamins before, but with all other brands on the market today it's hard to decide which is a better deal. I see seaweed vitamins, blue/green algae vitamins, etc.
Every morning (almost every morning) for the past 10 years I've been taking one B-Complex & one multi.

    Any brand name suggestions?

On a side note, hockeyman, are you going to SLP Day this year?

Yep. I had it posted in the NJ section for a few days, but I got no replies so I deleted it.
It is Oct 9th and I believe the gates open at 10am...not sure though. I have a friend that will be following me to Englishtown in his 1997 T/A, and we are probably going to stop at that Diner on Rt 33 just after Exit 8a of the NJ Turnpike for some breakfast first.

      Interested?? ;)

        Edit: I mean Oct 8th...not the 9th.

I take mega man. They seem good, but I haven't taken anything else, so I can't compare

When I weighed my highest (I was 155 when I was 16, I am still 5'8") and worked out 4-5 times a week after I got out of school, I took a storebrand equivalent of centrum multivitamin, calcium citrate (because I don't drink milk and don't intake much calcium), and a 250mg vitamin C pill...every morning with breakfast.

I also ate relatively healthy and drank plenty of water. I still follow all of those habits (except working out, I only weigh 135-140 now) and I'm really healthy. I really don't buy into that fancy stuff, just like with my car. I run wal-mart synthetic oil and ST oil filters in my car...my cylinder walls looked new when I had the heads off....hence why I didn't rebuild the bottom end.

But thats what just worked for me and my opinion. I think eating healthy and supplementing with minor vitamins is important.
