That sucks. No more fun with me hiding in a corner while my friend runs out like Rambo and gets shot up [img]graemlins/rofl.gif[/img] , but then respawns where I am, huh? Hey, what's your favorite weapon in Halo 2? I'm only on the second mission (the game just arrived yesterday), and so far I like the Cov. carbine. The blade is awesome though

in the game i would have to say dual yealding the red plasma rifles [img]graemlins/naughty.gif[/img] !!!!!

how did you get it </font>[/QUOTE][img]graemlins/rofl.gif[/img] My friend/roommate pre-ordered it on gamestop, and had it shipped to the APO address overhere. Took about 5-6 days for it to arrive. What else is nice is we picked up a 29" multiband tv for $150 over here as well

for some reason, dual weilding the machine gun and the plasma gun at the same time is like super powerful.

i prefer the covenant sniper rifle for one weapon and the sword for the other. great combo.

And how about being able to pick up the beam weapon off of a sentinel? That's just awesome against the flood

I've found that a great combo for the flood is dual SMGs with a shotgun. Most of the flood carry the SMGs, so you'll never run out of ammo. I try to stagger my bursts with them, so if I have to reload one, I can continue to fire the other. When it gets really hairy, I switch over to the shotgun. For the Covenant Elites, the plasma rifle / SMG works beautifully. I drain their shields quickly with the plasma rifle, then finish them off with a short burst of the SMG.

One of the things I DON'T like about Halo 2 is the way it mixes in the Covenant story. I think it takes away from the depth of the "Human" story. I would have preferred it if they had just made two separate campaigns (Human Campaign/Covenant Campaign).

I totally agree with you. They should have seperated the to stories. I still prefer using the monitor beam and the plasma sword for the flood. And on another note, from what I've heard, yes, it is leaving it wide open for Halo 3
