Now i am board, so i went on the net and found that we have 56,700,000 square miles of earth which means we have 36,288,000,000 acres. That means if armegedon hit now we would have 3 people per square mile, just about. So pretty soon Jahovas are going to be in trouble with logic saying. Cause not all of those acres are inhabitable, aka the artics and what not.
First off, 3 people per sq mile is A LOT!!! Florida has 277 people per sq mile.

Secondly, if everyone in the the world lived in Montana, There's roughly 6.5 billion on the planet, divided by 145,552 sq miles, means roughly 70 people per sq mile. As posted earlier, florida has 4xs that.

BTW, that number you gave for the earth IS land mass. Area of water is 139,668,500 square miles.

I wasn't saying it wasn't alot, i was saying what you said was incorrect. And i didn't say the world is at 3 people per square mile right now, we are at 3 people per acre! And that is as of 2002, and that is assuming that we use all the land on earth, including all the uninhabitale land, and that we are living on all land. So where are we growing food and all of that stuff?! It is just fact and point wrong! The whole basis for the religion goes out the door with logic and reasoning.
Which by the way as of 2002 if you do the Math means that the was 14000 square ft per person. But remember add in 3 more years of population growh and the fact that you will need to provide everything off that land cause i am not accounting for crop farms and all that stuff.

Ok, I redid my math. I must have missed a zero or something. But reguardless, you're not thinking vertically. New York city houses 8 million people and is only 309 sq miles. That's like 26,000 people per sq mile.

Current population is 114 per sq mile.

With 100 billion, the number would be around 1800 per square mile. It would be somewhat crouded but not impossible.

Yea, I screwed up my math, I must have left out a zero or something. The fact I heard was Montana is big enough to hold the entire US, which is a much more believable number.

Yeah if it is 3 per acre and there are 640 acres in a mile we are looking at 1920 people per mile! As of 2002! So it is probably over 2000 per mile now, and then add in infistructure and food and everything else...it just doesn't work out.

Dude, think vertically. Skyscrapers make this theory easily doable. I would argue with you more, but Nip/Tuck is on.

Yea, they don't come into my neighborhood anymore because my other bible beating neighbors drove them out. It was actually pretty cool when they turned around and were like "now let me read you something out of the bible". My neighbors are weird but mean well, and they take care of our interests in not wanting to be bothered by them. Now if I could just get my one neighbor to stop handing out this book that he just read explaining how to find your role that God has planned for you. As it may be a good book I don't want to go to his house and discuss it.

Camaro_speedemon instead of using New York, use.. I think its Japan, maybe China, Anyways its one of them. They can fit more people per square mile, maybe its because they're all really short but their living quarters are so much smaller than New York. And just think about it. There are 34 mexicans living in a "townhouse" (closer to an innercity rowhome but a little wider). You could probably fit all the mexicans in like, Maine.

Well i finally talked to him and he says. They don't have hell. All people that would go to hell in other religion's are just instantly erased in a lake of fire. All people that would normally go to heaven or puratory minus the 144,000 will be put back on paradise Earth.
And call me crazy...but i don't think there are going to be sky scrapers on paradise Earth.

There's actually about 5.5 people per square mile here (800k people, ~140ksqmi), or 116 acres per man woman and child. To top that, over 50% of those people live in the 7 largest cities in MT (1/8th in Billings), or less than 100 of those 144k square miles. Additionally, easily another 30%-35% live in the small towns througout the state. Most of the state is vast spreads of nothingness.

And you can keep em all.. cuz there's not room for that many people. Y'all just stay away from here  :D

Which means that everyone that ever dies and doesn't go to hell, in that religion it is 144,000 or something like that, has to fit on earth. Well i did a little research and it is estimated that 100 billion people have lived on earth! There is no way that all those could fit on earth! They can't, people say earth is crouded now and we are at only like 6% or that, if armegdon happened now, we would be at 106 billion people having to live on earth according to that religion if i have it correct. Can someone explain that logic to me, or correct me please?
I think you're misinterpreting the religion. From my understanding they do not believe in hell. Don't quote me on this, but I think they believe that when you die you are just that, dead until Armageddon. 144,000 is the number of people that are allowed to pass into heaven. The rest of the people will be resurrected and live in an Earthly Eden for eternity. It's actually a pretty interesting religion. Growing like mad in the United States.

I've heard a few different numbers on the amount of people to ever live. Some claim 100+ billion and others claim in the area of 50 billion. The problem is guessing the amount of people from before the Egyptians to birth of Christ.

I hate it when Jahovas people come knocking on your door. I utterly despise that, especially a religious movement trying to entice me to join them. This kind of solicitation is wrong, not to mention that Jahovas is a totally false and ludicrous religion to begin with. I think door to door religious canvassing should be outlawed everywhere. I'm an orthodox Christian, so I don't agree with many of the things the Jahovas say, but as a Christian I am really offended when they come to my door because it is an insult to my faith.
