Yeah, i'm sorry to say but i doubt it will be back. It had a good run while it lasted. It did its job of beating the mustangs performance wise, but Ford got it right and outsold the f-body by almost a 2 to 1 ratio.

this may be an opportune time (if not a ploy) to reinstate the camaro; they just have to come up with a good platform, and one kick@$$ design. The new mustang is gross (and the people that buy them probably wear Lacoste shirts with the collar up :rolleyes: ); I'd rather buy a dodge magnum.

lol i was thinkin the same thing... its just a hoax... gm prolly didnt even cancel the platform... its all a scam all of the sudden one day the camaro will just magically appear seemingly from nowhere... there tryin to catch everyone with theyre pants down so to speak and theyre gonna bring it back... i see it now... the regular camaro will have about 300 horses from a v6 and then the z28 will have around 450 horses from a detuned ls7... haha and by the way i'm really full of crap right now but i do believe the camaro and hopefully the firebird will be back...

the camaro will be back. i know it, you know it, and gm knows it. and with the sucky design of the new mustang, what could be a better time to bring it back? ford has brought their guard down with that cheap *** design, and it is cheap. all they did was take the 67' "Eleanor" design(although cool but outdated) and make it look "modern". how much did it cost to design that? NOW IS THE TIME FOR GM TO ATTACK! GO GM! THE RETURN OF THE CAMARO WILL SEND FORD BACK TO THE DRAWING BOARDS WITH THAT CHEAP *** MUSTANG DESIGN! JOIN ME BROTHERS! SHOW OUR PRIDE!

Dead and rotting as we speak. And Ford's "CHEAP *** MUSTANG DESIGN" is doing quite well, I can hardly find any on lots around here and the GT's are non-existant. Regardless of what some individuals think, on the whole Ford's doing quite well with the retro Mustang.

Just because you wouldn't buy it doesn't mean the rest of North America agrees with you. ;)

Oh yes, please don't think I'm some sort of F-Body hater/Ford lover, I hate everything equally. :D

Isn't the mustang having one of the best selling years in history?

And GTs are hard to find.
