I gaurantee I get laid more being in a long-term realtionship with a girl I love, then any single guy who goes from girl to girl. Is sexual intercourse shameful? No. Is disrespecting your own body by using it as a means for meaningless pleasure by sleeping around with countless different people? Yes.

I wouldn't date, much less sleep with, a girl who has had sex with 10 diff. guys, one time each, but I would date a girl who has had sex with 1 guy 500 times. Commitment is much more important than cheap thrills.

There is something called "dignity" and, in my opinion, a woman has none if she will screw some guy she's only known for a couple hours. That, to me, is shameful. Not the act of sex, but the circumstance.

And Grigory, you are right, it is really none of my business in most cases... just in this case, the girl I'm talking about isn't even a girl that I am trying to get with, but one I already have. We are just really close friends now and I am learning a lot about her... I still love her to death as a friend, she has so many qualities in a woman that I look for... but having had many sexual partners is something that I don't readily accept. Not saying I can't accept it, it just might take some time [img]smile.gif[/img]

i think that about 4-6 is about average for most of our age.

the first, the relationship with the first usually doesnt last long after sex.

second is the rebound, just to make you feel better.

third, party, you just hook up with someone, usually alchol involved.

forth, accual relationship involved. same for the 5th and 6th, in some cases.

then there is the one that you just do because you just want some bad. everyone has those momnets "why in the hell did i just do that!?"


and with what TMGSIX said, with this one girl, ive had more sex, more frequently, than most. and with one partner, she knows what to do to get your rocks off, much better than some random chick that knows nothing about you.

You may not need to worry about her past and your feelings about it once she discovers you have essentially posted on a public forum her sexual history.

While there is some room for discussion about how many partners you may be comfortable with someone having had in the privacy of your relationship, there isn't a whole lot of room for blowing the other person's right to privacy once they share their secrets with you. The fact they trusted you enough to discuss the number of partners with you certainly does not give you the right to make broad hints in a public forum that the lady you are with is either (a) promiscuous or (b) an idiot to have trusted you with her personal history.

But hey, good luck in that relationship...

As for the original question - and in reply to the fool who believes the rules should be different for men and women - ask before you screw them, decide for yourself what would bother YOU, and chose your own behavior accordingly.
