What is an acceptable number for sexual partners?

The girl I'm talking about isn't even a girl that I am trying to get with, but one I already have. We are just really close friends now and I am learning a lot about her... I still love her to death as a friend, she has so many qualities in a woman that I look for... but having had many sexual partners is something that I don't readily accept. as for the few that said something about being with a virgin... you either have had some naturally great virgins or you havnt ever had one, my experiences with em were horrible, you cant really get into it when she's half way about to cry every time you thrust

I have no problems being with a girl that has had several partners... as long as I know she is clean...

Just I am with a girl, love her I am not her first, all her relationships and guy she has been with are all very believable(actualy longer relationships) etc... but ehh its wierd. I can think and say it doesn't matter but when I see a old pic of her kissing a guy, I just get a jelous feeling, I don't go pyscho and get mad, its just all sorts of animal instinct or something.

I'd be more turned off by a girl who has been with like 5 guys but just randomly hooked up with them, then a girl who has been with 10 guys and knew them all.

You guys who think that having sex with several partners equals experience are sadly mistaken. Experience is not gained by 10 minute alcohol induced lays, its aquired by being in an open, trusting relationship were both people feel comfortable expressing their likes and dislikes and are willing to try new positions and methods. Like I said before, a girl who has had sex with 10 diff. guys a few times each is nowhere near as appealing or experienced as a girl who has had sex with 1 guy hundreds of times, and knows what she wants and how she wants it.

It really doesn't matter. I'd say over 20 is unacceptable. People should be able to have fun, and sex, is fun. As long as she has practiced safe sex and is free of disease it shouldn't matter really. BUT, 20 is pushing it in my book.
