need some help with this ticket i got on the highway

so then what is my "time of distance" if i was going 1320 feet.. and a constant 96 mph. how long would it take to go 1320 feet

Pilot HP Aircraft is Sgt. Grishluter 316.187(2).


IT doesnt say how fast i crossed what distance to determine the speed... it just says under what speed that i was doing 96mph

The link I posted early was about how to fight a ticket like that. VASCAR is measures the time it takes a car to travel between two points, then it calculates the speed. But when you count in the reaction time of the officer, there can be huge margin of error.

I wish CT highways were changed to 70 mph here. It's bad enough that certain highly traveled speedways here you cannot go 55 mph past the posted speed limit. The brutal truth is technology got you unfairly and the bottom line is for states to generate enough revenue & a certain percentage for themselves and to keep insurance companies fat & happy. Maybe the only possible recourse on your behalf is to find that sign off the highway you got busted in and verify it was there stating you've been warned about aerial surveillance, if not then thats an outright insidious trap. I see by your sig that youre gonna change your LSD to 3.42's, lol show the judge that your own cars gearing was threw off your speedomter and you had no idea but the gear change wouldve resolved it. Hopefully the judge will take you and your "spotless" drivers history seriously and reduce the fine big time. I had a 92mph speeding ticket in California on a 70 zone and got pulled over but I did not ADMIT anything. Being the genius I am, for a six pack a friend of mine cut down a leafy branch & dangled it in front of that 70 mph sign and I took a photo of the obstruction. Later at court I confronted the judge about the towns negligence and maintenance of shrubs and tree branches that obstructed my view of the sign and he had no choice but to dismiss the ticket because it was such a far out incredible claim on my part they could not dispute at all lmao! Or tell them you were speeding to avoid a case of road rage (example: elderly drivers). You gotta beat the system somehow man. Traffic school is a waste of time IMO. You sit with repeat offenders who deserve to be there and listen to long boring lectures that will not resolve anyones speeding habits. It's another way for your state to make a bargain with private businesses to collectively make a buck off law conscious speeders like us. In regards to the whole "showing the reading on the gun" comments, although there is no "actual" law stating that a cop MUST show proof, there is alternatives that can be taken. It's called, "making a scene." If you ask to see the reading, and the cop refuses to show it, then you pretty much know that he's BS-ing you. Therefore, you REFUSE to sign the ticket. He calls in backup, another squat car comes, you explain the situation, the cops talk, etc, etc. Pretty much, an officer isn't going to embarass himself by allowing a scene like that to happen. Thus, they'll just say some BS and let you get on your way, or whatever else they decide to do to "compromise."

As for the Aircraft incident, wasn't there an incident a while ago regarding a motorcycle going 200+ mph, based on a reading from one of those things??? I believed the case questioned the accuracy of their readings. I dont know, but you might be able to use that incident in court.

Yeah, good idea. Then when he pulls you out of the car to arrest you, continue to resist so you can see what a stun gun or mace feels like.

How is that embarassing to the cop? Just sounds like fuel to get yourself arrested.
