X2. I am never EVER buying a GM product again. My car just took a **** on me, 6 years old...once it does it fixed, I'm going to the dodge dealer because they are offering employee pricing as well now.
-1999 Camaro Coupe 3800 Series II V6 A4 - SOLD
-1998 Pontiac Grand Prix GTP coupe
Lutz is defending the camaro he even said he wanted to bring it back and hes been pushing for its return. I'm not thrilled with GM right now either but in my opinion they are still the best cars out there in there individual classes.
example:
Corvette takes Ford Gt for reliability and price and they are almost matched for speed.
Silverado continues to match or beat its competitors hauling/towing capacity.
Tahoe still competes with the Expedition and has higher sales
Suburban only one in its class and it still sells
Sure their new cars havnt been the greatest but I'm willing to bet that soon they bring something to the table that will bring GM back to its former glory.
if u guys haven't noticed lately most every car company is hurting these days, but hey congrats gm u did something first an employe discount "on select cars." looking at their site the new impala's and monte carlo's r going to have 5.3L v8's. As for the camaro if gm wants to bring back the camaro name they'll have to be doing some legal work with the canadian government since the only factory it could legaly be built in under the name camaro was torn down

im pretty sure that only applied while the plant was standing :D
only ford I was even slightly partial to was the gt90 prototype; made the current GT seem like a Pinto (the current GT is merely an identical version of the GT40 of the 60's)
all i have to say is the only ford's anyone in my family has owned broke down with in a few months, and no one in my family will ever touch a ford again. Ford=Fixed Or Repaired Daily
I like what Ford has done with the mustang! the only reason i wouldn't consider a new mustang next year when i go car shopping is that i have corvette dreams! I'm not waiting for another "f-body".
Old News Flash for those who criticize GM for introducing the "hip" or "cool" type of car too late: the Camaro was a response to the Mustang, and came out 3 YEARS after the Mustang, and was wildly successful.
I doubt we'll see a new Camaro any time soon, and the sad part is that there is actually a market for it. GM could steal quite a few of those new Mustang sales with a good new 'Maro.
Ford didn't BEAT GM  they took ONE MARKET. If they didn't have UAW problems right now they'd beat the crap out of Ford.

gm has hua problems..(head up a$$)
as for no more v6 camaro i dunno.
gm HAS A NEW V6 twin oerheada cam 3.6lv6 with a whopping 305 horse power. two more than their 327 5.3l v8. that would fly. i think gm is dumb. but i wont buy a ford if i can help it.
The confusion surrounds me
change is imminent
if I were they
we could be great
