I think everyone is forgetting that a V6 with high mileage is a lil bit worse than a V8. For example, a 4 banger motor with over 100k miles on it has TWICE as much internally worn rotating parts than a V8. The V8 at 100k is technically "50%" worn than a L4 because of the mechanical work it has to do on that level. So a V6 is somewheres in the middle. (Just interjecting for sake of chat.)

They aren't going to give you anymore for your tires or stereo if you trade the car. Even if you sell it outright, I doubt you will get the money.

My brother is buying a 98 V6 'maro this week for $4800, nothing wrong with the car at all. No offense, but you wont be getting anywhere near $7k for your car unless you find a sucker to buy it for that price realistically. V6's dont have that high of a resale, let alone f-bods in general.

Green Punisher, you need to find that guy who offered you 7500 cash, and tell him to hand it over. 4 years ago I paid 5500 for my W68 Firebird and it was mint. If someone came up to me anywhere and offered me that kinda money for my car Id give it to him on the spot and find another way home. Sell it and take a taxi until you find the V8 you want.

The V6 market here is absolutely crazed....there are V6 Camaros and Birds out the ying-yang here...the prices for them here are very high. Im absolutely not selling my car now that i just put 13 combined hours into my perfected racing stripes...but i can easily get $7500; sold as is. The car only has 50K on it....new alternator, belt, tires, plugs, wires....this car is mint. As much as id like to have a V8, as a 16 year old, id have to sell my left nut to pay for gas and insurance.

ur car KBB value is $5,580
sorry homie but ur in denial
oh and btw modifications do not add value to the car, alot of times they decrease the value which is why most people who modify their cars have no intentions of re-selling them
