Those kind of questions are really quite pointless. </font>[/QUOTE]Sorry but I really fell quite strongly about this. Sure hypothetical questions can be made for any argument. But I personally feel police pursuits pose a greater risk than the few petty arrests they gain.

IMHO, chases should be limited to extremely low traffic/low risk chases. If the people who are running start blowing through red lights, it's only a matter of time till theres a wreck.

If they are chasing someone, and someone gets hurt, the cop will get in some serious trouble for not adhering to the policy.

I believe my city has something along the lines of only being able to chase if they have proof the person has a weapon. Its a lot more complicated than just that, but i'm tired and cant think very well. K bye.
