• Creatine works great when your hungry

I have this love/hate relationship with Creatine. I've gone off and on with it many times.

But I think I found that this supplement works even better when you're hungry and you got nothing in your stomach.

My muscles feels pump eventhough I haven't worked out yet.

The problem is when I do eat, afterwards, I tend to fart alot Plus with all the water I have to drink, I Pee alot more than before.

Other than those minor inconvience my workouts seems better.

Off Topic: My left shoulder is still in alot of pain though. I shouldn't have gone back to barbell bench press.

Doesn't that make you just seem more manly.

On side note creatine causes me horrible migraines and I can't take it any more.

I'm afraid to try N02 for the same reasons. :(

Are you taking it along with high sugar content? Like cranberry juice, orange juice and such.

These somewhat, though not proven, can cause headaches.

Maybe you should mixing it in with yogurt and see what happens.

as over hyped up of a product CELL-TECH is.. Thats the only creatine that has actually worked for me. I think its just all the added amino acids and sugars that helps it distribute it throughout the body. Im kinda on an off season now.. not working out too heavy.. (dont have a job) .. but once i go back to working out im hitt'n up the cell tech again for 8 weeks.. along with those amino acids, a good multivitamin..and stuff..

I also heard that taking in simple carbs or sugars helps distribute the cell tech, or creatine or protein into the muscles..

I guess thats why professional body builders now are switching up to insulin.. .which.. is rediculously dangerous.. but they said they hit 30 lb gains within 2-3 months...

I dont know if everything i said is correct but it worked for me in the passed.

Stay away from insulin though.. wow u dont wanna go into a diabetic coma.. crazy people

all natural is the only way to go.....even though i take whey protein but that is it, i have tried to take creatine but i think that it made me way to cranky and took it out on my family and friends, i have no idea if that is normal or not but that was my experience with it

i think it having to do with you becoming cranky..is totally psychological.....

creatine just pretty much helps your muscles retain water.. for better and quicker healing.. plus the muscles look jucier with creatine...

I've only been taking whey for the past 9 months or so. I wonder if starting up creatine would be a good idea, although I'm looking to cut for the summer months. Any input on cutting and taking creatine?

i like just whey protein when i lift personally.. if you take neough tof it, it gives me the boost i need to lift... i found that creatine (along with glutamine -which is supposed to help muscles heal) didnt do anythin for my bench... all creatine does is pump up muscles for short turn gains... its not lasting... unlike whey protien, if you build the muscle, its there... its not as easy to get rid of... ill stick to whey...

Creatine helps to give you a tad bit more energy to get in an extra rep or two on the last set, thus exhausting the muscle further. You're supposed to take it with some sugary drink, like grape juice or such. If I don't have fruit drinks, I use soda, lol. It actually helped me with my plateau. I'm an on again off again creatine guy myself. Right now, I am blending my own whey protein drinks with strawberry or/and banana, and even some Nestle French Vanilla Java mix, lol. Its just the Vanilla Whey with Nestle though, nothing more. Hopefully the caffiene in the shake will give me some addition calorie burning boost. Muscle and Fitness states taking in caffiene an hour to hour and a half before going to the gym helps to burn more calories. I am trying to stay away from soda, I've limited the intake dramatically. They have phosphorous that takes/blocks calcium from your bones. When you are young your bones can absorb calcium easily, but as you age the amount it can take in starts declining. So take in all your calcium while you can to avoid brittle bones.

I'm also taking vitamins, egg whites, chicken patties, and recently, tuna sandwiches again.

Creatine is awesome, I use Phosphagen. I didn't lift at all for 3 months and my bench max was at 185 (I weighed 165). A month later and my max is 245 and I weigh 170. I usually mix it with Gatorade. I'm shootin for 270lbs in August without creatine this summer(gotta cycle it).
