^^ True. My example wasn't about mass, more along strength. There are also genetic factors, some people can't add lean mass.

creatine makes my body look more ripped days after my workout. i seem to have better muscle definition when i'm on it.

You're supposed to take it every day, from what I've read.
It's not like super juice that you can take rigth before you work out to get you hyper.
