they are... it helps so when you take corners and such hard, that all the fuel doesn't pool to the sid of the tank and starve the motor for fuel.Originally posted by Heartbeat_of_94:

In my 3.4L I was sputtering and chuging at the track once, I had toput in a gallon 100 octane at $5 a gallon just so I could make it to a local gas station..
made no difference in my times...
