    G80 = LSD

    I've never heard of an A4 car having a series-3 open diff, so I doubt you have 3.42s without an LSD.

              that means you have 3.42's with open diff. I hade the same setup. Was glad to see the 3.42's in it. I had power everything except seats and no leather. loaded for the base model coupe with painted rook, no ttops and single exhaust. Base until i got ahold of it.

                  Either find a used one on online, go to the junkyard or order a new one from Summit, Jegs etc.

                      like i still dont know the difference from a posi to a LSD.

                        Posi and LSD are the same thing. Im not sure about the V8's having the same door code.
