Wasn't really drag racing related.... so it goes here.

This is to settle many "discussions" in the drag racing section.

Nice guy......needs to learn more about nitrous I made some suggestions....hopefully he listens.

The car.....YES it has a blower.... YES it has nitrous....YES he made several passes blown n juiced...YES he made one blown pass w/o the juice.

I video'ed many of his runs.

Nitrous nozzle is mounted behind the MAF, I suggested a different location.

Things I can confirm
NOS KIT 5175... dry.. 85 shot
Powerdyne 6 lb kit
Open rear
Borla cat back?

I witnessed 2 blown n juiced runs which got him a 14.0
I witnessed a blown run which got him a 15.7
Skorpian saw a blown n juiced 14.1
He made another pass which we both missed... 13.9 blown n juiced
I have video'ed most of those runs

On the blown only run.. somewhere around the 1/8 mile the car started sputtering REALLY bad.

Personally, I have suggested he stops spraying right away.

I'd also like to see the blower off.

Plugs come out right away and compression change all cylinders

Dry kit nitrous nozzle relocated... to a location I pointed out on his intake

Then we move from there.

This post... is NOT meant to attack him... it is meant to resolve some "discussions" in the drag racing section (I use the "discussions" term loosely).

I know he has realized it is far from an 11 second v6 f body even though G TECH told him that.

*shameless plug that G TECH IS CRAP and will NEVER be respected by REAL drag racers*

Well, it was nice to meet another V6 f body member.

You have a couple things that should be addressed... in time though it will get better.

I'm looking forward to meeting him again at the track... there is room for improvement.. but get that blower and nitrous off the car first.

yeah he was a nice guy. hope he gets his engine fixed soon, he could do much better than 14's with a blower and nitrous. the nozzle behind the MAF had me scratching my head....i don't know why NOS's people told him that was a good place to mount it. in case he wants to sell the nitrous kit and the blower, i'll gladly take them off his hands :D

Sounds like he should of gotten that SS instead for consistent runs.

That would be a kick in the balls to get a 15.7 with a blower :(

13.6 is really true if he was able to do 14 and 13.9. I know he has issues with blower and on top of that, N2O. That makes it even worst.

I'm sure once he resolves his problems, his car can go 12.4 with that amount of juice and boost.

I would love to see that car. It looks awesome in his site. Did he do any weight reduction?

James, you should post in FI and defend this guy once in awhile. I'm sick and tired of the jealously and thrash talk that goes there. I don't even like posting there anymore. He is a nice guy.

Maybe not... due to engine damage.
