They are criminals, if a cop chases you, and you run, I think the cop has every right and priviledge to reduce your rights from an average civilian to to the rights of a "child molesting, president assasinating, armed robbing, drug making using and selling chicken ****er"

YOu shouldn't have to run from the cops and if you have to run from them you deserved to be tazered.

I think its awesome that they have them, much better alternative than getting blasted with a gun
if they kill people, oh well, they woulda dies from a gunshot too.

I just don't think that these will be taken as seriously as guns and will be available for children/teenagers who think it would be fun to shock random people

You have to understand how eletric shock works.

After I was shocked I did some research on why some people might only have a small by nasty shock from an outlit and others get thrown accross the room.

The reason is resistance.

Someone that is healthy, relaxed, and has their shoes on, not near water. An eletric shock from appliance should not kill them. But it will probably hurt like hell. It may just be a quick jolt and nothing, you feel fine.

Now, say you just got done running, and playing a hard game of tennis. You are sweating your balls off, and your bare foot, and your body is very tired.
A small shock can then kill you because your body has very little resistance and your body will basically become a very good conductor for eletricity. 110 volts can basically fry you instantly if you are in that circumstance.

a kid at my friends school gave a cop the finger when he was asked to stop and he started walking out the door of the school, yep, the cop taserd him. Sounded pretty funny to me. I think the cop is in some sort of trouble though.

most of the deaths were becuase the criminal that was shot had a past history of drug abuse which caused said person to have a poorly operating body.

Now thats exactly why cops should be allowed to have tazers to make high/middleschool hardasses realize their place so they do what they are told.
