Motor is out! New motor arrives tomorrow.
(Those who have sent me PMs, I promise to get back to you - this weekend has been a little crazy.)
After seperating the Engine and Transmission, we removed the clutch pressure plate and were shocked. I have barely had this clutch a year ... and spent very little time on the road - but the thing was already worn down to the rivits! Pressure plate shows lots of hot spots, fly wheel is just the same.
Now I'm at a cross roads, I had no idea that I'd be replacing a motor and a clutch that costs half the price of that motor .... Do I just replace the Center Force Dual Friction clutch and hope the fly wheel and pressure plate can be resurfaced? Or take a step out and replace the whole thing with a Spec Stage 3? --- suggestions welcome.
(Yes, I'd like to take out a personal loan ... umm ... yes, sir. I need some more parts for my race car.)
