Test drove a new Lexus IS350 today!

WOW!!!! That thing moves! I told the salesman I was just looking but he told me to take him for a drive. Who am I to argue? He was cool as hell. He kept telling me to punch it. The one I drove was FULLY loaded. He said it had every option but 2 and it was $45k. They had several with leather, sunroof, power everything but NOT the navigation for $32k-38k. He told me the IS250 and the IS250 AWD were slow girl cars. 0-60 on 8.5 for the 250 and 5.6 for the 350 according to the brochure. We drove about 15 miles, some highway and some backroads. ALOT of room in the front but the back was surprisingly cramped. I couldn't even sit back there with someone in the front seats. Really nice car overall and FAAAAAAAAAST!

Sounds like good stuff, but for 45k you have to go E46 M3. I mean it is the car all the other cars in that segment stride to be.

Did you notice the traction control and stability control screwing with stuff? Or did you pretty much drive it in a straight line?

Pretty cool... they seem to be very nice cars, and I love the styling. I didn't know they were that fast, though... almost as quick to 60 as an LS1.
