  • automatic shifters?

    i only knew one person that had one it was for his 94 camaro. anyone else had one or experience with it? is it better then manual?

    What are you asking? Are you talking about automatic transmissions vs. manual transmissions? Both have their pro's and con's. Lots of people like manuals because they feel it is the only actual way to 'drive' a car.

            they basically mount on top of the tranny so to say... to improve shifting, for racing or whatnot...
            i really dont know if there is anything special about them.. never owned one sorry.

              Nothing special about aftermarket shifters unless you are running a reverse valvebody on a non-computer controlled tranny. What that means, since about 95% of the people on here have probably never seen or used one, is you upshift it manually.
