One problem trying to find a 5-speed Firebird at least in 02 was that if you wanted the package that included keyless entry and other stuff like a power seat it automatically added an auto tranny.

    I found out later that you could delete it and get a credit for the cost of the auto, but it didn't seem that most dealers knew it and it was too late to order one anyways. I'm pretty sure I checked every dealer in California online in late May/early June of 02, and I found one 5-speed with keyless entry and it wasn't a color I wanted.

    Tenom-Where in Northern Cali are you?
    </font>
I'm about 20 miles east of San Francisco near Concord.
    </font>
Oh okay, I lived in San Ramon when I was really young so I have an idea of where you are but I'm quite a bit futher north now.

        Z28 - Bought Sept 03 for $13,400 w/ a bad clutch, 3000 under book at the time.

        '81 - $4500 plus a set of tires for it, the engine alone had more $ into it than that, let alone the built trans & case, $1200 worth of wheels & tires, etc.

        '98 Paid $11,900 for it in March '04

        '05 Paid $36,500 for it July '05 with 48 miles, MSRP was $45,000
