I would appreciate any and all opinions about a camaro i'm thinking about buying. Its a 1998 convertible, 3.8L, 81,000 miles, loaded. The engine runs very well. The only down side is that its front bumper needs painted and the front and rear driver's side fenders needs some body work/replaced. From the passenger side view the car looks flawless. I think i can get it for $3000. Do you think it is worth the price? and any opinions on how much it would be to have it fixed would be appreciated. I may be able to post a pic of it in the near future. Thank you for all opinions and comments.

even at 6 thousand your still below blue book I think. Sounds like a good deal assuming that the engine and transmission are both in good order. I'd say buy!!
If you look hard enough you may luck out and find fenders at a junkyard in the same color you need. And wouldn't need to repaint.
Is it driveable?? Like how bad is the damage? It didn't sound too bad the way you worded it. Could you even drive it around for a month or two while you try to locate fenders that are same color??

Yeah. the damage that is done won't not affect the driveabilty. Its just cosmetic. A truck backed over the bumper and scratched it up, and i'm not sure about how the fenders got dented in. Its only on the driver's side.http://www.cardomain.com/ride/857214
