    Advice from Dad

    I emailed Dad last night on the status of the car -- (laugh) -- to which he replied:

    Time for a change. Lisa is selling her neon for $2000.00. Body in good shape. runs good. has 115,000 miles on it and still going strong. what do you think? Are you interested?

    (LOL! - I just ran blue book on that car ... haahahhaaha)

        sounds like my dad, except he would follow with a short speach on what a bad investment cars are. He's right, but I still wouldnt drive a neon.

          IF it was in good shape, and bluebooked decent(I know neons bluebook really bad)

          I'd do it. Older neons with high mileage can be really crappy but if its cheap, and reliable... and you have no car. Why not [img]smile.gif[/img]

          But honestly... if I was going to do a beater, I'd get me a nice 305 TBI 3rd gen... slower then hell but pretty reliable overall [img]smile.gif[/img]

            2000.00 a typo? Perhaps $200
            I got my badass '94 baby blue Taurus beater for $750 from my neighbor. Body takes minor damage at the train station and parking lots, runs great no problems in a year and half for 84,000 some miles.
