Just ordered new tires, 4 hawk pads, and 4 brembo rotors. This baby's gonna stop on a dime :D
Best part is, 4 pads and rotors for the stang cost the same as 2 pads and rotors in my old camaro.

Not bad... I was going to order a set, but daddy was paying (I can afford some repairs, but not 4 new tires) and wanted Goodyears, but I'm not complaining.
Brakes sound good, too. Let me know how it works. I was wanting to get some Hawk pads and Stoptech or Brembo rotors, but I wasn't sure if they would perform as well when cold.

I had hawk pads on my camaro. The cold bite wasn't all that great, same as stock.
But once the brakes are warmed up, they work great.

Ah... I never get spirited enough to heat them up... most roads around here are pretty straight. Still, when I actually need to replace them, I guess I'll go with Hawk, if cold is at least as good as stock...
i know gt's suck at stoping and your going to keep eatting up your breaks. the best thing we did for my fiances gt was put some steel braided break lines on.

dude you need them. trust me, it's worth it.
They don't suck any more then Fbody's did. The only reason I'm replacing them, is because the rotors warp when I slam on the brakes.
I go through brakes every 15k miles anyways no matter what car it is. So I'm used to eating up brakes
