did you have to do any body work on the hood, because from the before picture it looks a little crinkled by the headlights, if so you did an excellent job, i can imagine it wouldnt have been fun

i think there was 3 dime size dents right on the body lines on the hood. not an easy spot to fix, my body guy is AMAZING. there was a nickel size ding in the middle of the middle body line on the hood too, but he got all the dings out now. he did a great job IMO

FWIW, the sun wasnt out in any of the pics, and theres no wax on the paint at all. wait untill spring when its warm anough to wax it. ill get good pics.

yep, all 4 tires have primer, base, and clear over spray on them. im not too concerned with it, the tires are 50% gone anyway. thanks for the comments everyone.

Looks like it turned out great, and you've defiently come a long way. I have a feeling your going to be one of those select few who never wreck the fbody as their first car.. probably because of what you had to go through to get this one fixed. You defiently set your sights on owning an fbody, and I know its the greatest thing in the world to look out the window and see EXACTLY what you wanted. And very soon, you'll be joining the ranks of those who turn back and oogle their car when you reach your destination.

thanks, i just drove my sister's car a little yesterday and the day before, totally calm, relaxed. i moved my car from the yard to the driveway, i was scared to death, both legs shaking like crazy. im scared crapless to even move the car. im going to be VERY careful. and yes, this is exactly what i wanted. thanks for the comments and for wishing me luck.

i got over 5 months to chill out. im just so paranoid im gonna wreck it. the whole car has new paint, any little scratch is gonna be noticleable. and everyone wrecking isnt calming me down any. im fine in my sisters car becuase well, she doesnt care if i tap/bump something its a auto,she already beat the crap out of the body, the front bumper is covered in scratches. i dont know, i just need more time behind the wheel of my car i guess.

You'll get over that. I'm extremely anal when it comes to everything about my car, and it seems like I find a new spot where some jackass opened their door into it every time I wash it. Your never going to enjoy it if you shelter it its entire life, a car can always get repainted.. Besides, your more likely to get into trouble being extra careful than being wreckless. I never got a ding in my V6 mainly because the paint was already kinda abused, but in my new car when I was over protective, I watched two people open their car door into it without even caring.. in the first month of ownership.
