• Ne 1 good with CSS/Style sheets?

hey there, I was trying to figure out how to formatt a bar with linked buttons and a title into a css file.

The class project we have wont let us edit the content of the html, only the css for formatting. The buttons each have three states (plain, mouse over, and depressed)

Fireworks used Javascript as well as a super table to put these together, but its no good because its all in the html file instead of the css.

Confused hehe, seen things about calling tables in css but dont even know where to start as the bar has 35 parts all with varying heights and widths... gah my brain hurts hehe.

All I know is that they don't work unless you get em *just* right.

It's a good idea - I didn't even know they existed until I had to write a python program to generate a document using them for my Unix Tools class (go figure).

Guess that's what you get for skipping the Overview of CS course

hehe, I think what I need to be able to do is creat a complex table with css and link the images. It might be impossible to get all three states to conform over the same point so that the button works like a graphical rollover.

All the tutorials I have seen so far only work for basic text rollovers, can graphical rollovers be done inside css completely, or do you have to edit the html?
