I taught I was really in for it. I know I wasn't speeding or anything. I did accelerated really fast from the light but maintain speed when I got to the speed limit.
Two cops out of nowhere got behind me really quick and asked me to pull over.
I taught I was going to get a speeding ticket, instead they gave me a ticket for having a loud car. They gave me till the first week of July to tune down the car and they will reverse the ticket.
too loud? ive never heard of that law before. we have one here in NC if you can hear the radio over 50 feet away then you get a citation, but the car? hm. i wonder what they do about dump trucks!!!

In FL you can be given a ticket if your exhaust is modified from stock or stock replacement (IE Flowmaster or any aftermarket exhaust)
Most cops don't care, only people ever hassled are insanely loud cars, even then not often.
As for 2 cop cars, I thought that was the one main things of the cops they want 2 cops at each pullover, hence 2 cars.

LOL, welcome to my world. I see you live in Southern Cali. I have been pulled over from having a loud exhaust 3 times before. I was told in court that the violation wasn't fixable and I needed to pay the ticket. My car didn't even go through inspection. I paid around $120 for each ticket.
If I were you, I would tone it down so you won't get harrased as much. After a while, being pulled over made me look like a thug to everyone staring at me. But it's your call.
