If someone rear ended you, they are liable for the back end damage (or that has been the way my 3 accidents played out) regardless of whether you hit the car in front of you first or not.
take the insurance money, buy a hatch/bumper cover out of a junkyard, have it paint matched and mod the car some more. [img]graemlins/burnout.gif[/img]
this is not to take away from the thought of waching the road...just seems like the ford behind you wasn't either.1995 3.4L M5 126k. Not stock, but still not fast.
