Not even 2 months ago, i had gotten pulled over for: exhibition of speed, failure to yield (3 counts), and wreckless driving; and the cop let me off. Just yesterday, i was on my way to my girls house, about 15 miles away on a mostly uninhabited country road where the speed limit is 55. I am just a normal country driver, so i was going about 65ish. I was driving along when around from this blind corner pops a state cop, and hits me with radar while driving towards me. He immediately slammed the brakes, whipped around, got up right on my bumper for about 15 seconds, then turned on his cherries and pulled me over. Its around 10:00PM, and he walks up to me with his flashlight in one hand, and a nightstick in the other. I was intimidated. He tells me he clocked me at 67....and i just flat out admitted to it. I told him i knew i was going quite a bit over. He took my license and registration, went to his car for about 2 minutes, came back, and told me to slow it down from now on.
Moral of the story - dont be a dick to cops...and more than likely, they will have some sympathy.
