The latest hurricane is really making me nervous...

Makes me nervous cuz you know every forcast they make on a hurricane from the east, it jumps north at the last moment, which means it will hit me.

sucks, I am debating if I shoudl get wood to board up, or not, since its still pretty far away, but then again by the time I decide to buy it, might be too late and home depot is sold out.

The Coral Springs Super WalMart is already almost out of D Cells.

I've got heavy gauge steel hurricane shutters for one section of the house (a so-called "safe zone"). The rest of the house has massive windows but no shutters.

I'll probably have to go chop down all the coconuts from my trees tomorrow if it keeps heading this way. I really don't want to see 100 coconuts flying into my living room.

My wife is going to get all the food and water stocked up tomorrow. We had just worked down the last of 2003's supplies last May and have not yet re-stocked.

yeah we are going to restock up, tomorrow, I mean if we didn't get anything we could be fine here for like 5 days without power, but not as comfortable as we woudl like [img]smile.gif[/img]

Cut down the coconuts and use them as emergency supplies. You could live for weeks on coconuts!
