TXSIX and ReodDai--one more post out of either of you in this thread--for ANY reason--and you will be immediately and permanently banned.
Do not hijack threads. Do not spew your hateful BS on our message board. This was a thread about a MOVIE and several members posted how they really enjoyed it; the film touched their hearts. Then the two of you start your hateful bashing posts and ruin it for everyone else. UNACCEPTABLE.
You have been warned. The sickness in my stomach I see from your hateful words urge me to ban you right here and now but I am a Christian and we give people second chances. But don't blow it again.
This also applies to anyone else who feels the need to post derogatory garbage in this thread.
(EDIT: For the record, TXSIX is a new screen name for 98V6. He was removed because he came back under a new name with no approval of the admins, not necessarily because of his posts in this thread. His posts here, however, did attract attention to the fact that he did not have his e-mail address viewable, which led us to the discovery that he is 98V6.)

Back to the subject of this thread--I have not yet seen it and currently Jenn and I are debating about the economics of it all. (I'm Lutheran, she's Catholic but leans toward Protestant practices.)
We both want to see it but she wants to rent, I want to buy. I want to own it because from the business/marketing perspective, every dollar spent on it is a vote. And with all the garbage out there in Hollywood these days, I want to help send a message to producers that the American people do like good Christian movies. In that regard I hope the movie tops the charts in sales.
She does not want to buy it because she is opposed to making a profit off Christianity. But I have heard rumors from many sources now (this thread only strengthening what I've already heard) that most of the proceeds are going to good charities. That's fine in my book.
We'll probably end up buying it once the price drops a bit, we usually never buy a DVD until its $14.99 at Wal-Mart. Currently the Passion is retailing for $22.99 just about everywhere we look.
About the movie itself--it has English subtitles but the voice acting is in Hebrew and/or Arabic, right? I've always hated subtitled movies because that forces me to wear my glasses. And if I wear my glasses in front of the TV I always end up with a headache. But I suppose it'll be worth it for this film, right?
