actually, i was conscious the whole time. after the car stopped i sat there for 20secs and i saw my cousin slumped over the center console. i did not feel hurt at all so i took my seatbelt off, and walked around the front of the car. i heard it hissing really loud so i wanted to get him out ASAP. i waved down oncoming traffic, but no one stopped.
i opened his door, turned off the ignition, and took his seatbelt off. he was in and out of consciousness, so i put his arm over my shoulder and walked him away from the car.
then a neighboor came out of the house and called 911, she said "oh my God, you were in the red car and your walking around!" i said "yeah, can i use your phone."
i called my grandpa, then i called my mom. about 3mins later all the EMS and police were there.
i gave the officer my story and as he was writing it down i looked at the other car and saw the man crushed against his roof, i knew he was dead.
then paramedics grabbed me amd laid me on a stretcher, then everything started to hurt. i kept telling everyone i was fine because i had to go pee, i finally went 5hours later. i saw my family freaking out and i kept saying i was fine, but i was shaking uncontrollably, but i had no internal bleeding, just swelling.

they put me in the heliocopter first because they thought i had worse injuries then my cousin. the paramedics had to carry me about 50 yrds to the heli, i'm 6'3 230lbs and they were strugling, i thought they were going to drop me.
they slide me in feet first and my head was sticking out of the helictopr and i was looking up at the blades, i was hoping i wasn't going to ride like that. they opened the other side and pushed me in more.
long story short, i was in the hospital for 5 hours. my cousin stayed 2 days because they monitored his internal swelling.

i forgot about this story, the same day of the accident, i picked up a 2000 ws6 t/a, which was sligthly wrecked on the driver side. i was goiong to use that as the donor car for my project. i was going to have an ls1 in my pre 98 bird, just like magnus, except this one dynoed at 380hp, 400ftq.
now i have nothing to put it in.

also in the police report the finacé of the man who died told her story. the guy, Marc, had no insurance, suspended license, and fake tags on his car.
Marc went out drinking after a fight with his finacé, she went to the bar to get him, and they left together, he said to her "i'm going to kill you, myself, and i'm taking out someone else with me." she jumped out of the car at 45mph and got in a friends car who was following. they could not catch up to him because he was doing over 100mph. he was running every stop sign, my car happened to be crossing the last one.
it felt like a roller coaster.
