O i got another thing, i noticed you guys were talking about how time travel is impossible and would have to do with going faster than light it self... well i dunno how all that would work and i think im to stupid to understand what the hell you guys are talking about but anyway what i got from reading was that....

Parts of the time machine...
1. Magnetic housing units for dual microsignularities.
2. Electron injection manifold to alter mass and gravity of microsingularities.
3. Cooling and x-ray venting system
4. Gravity sensors (VGL system)
5. Main clocks (4 cesium units)
6. Main computer units (3)

"Time travel is achieved by altering gravity. This concept is already proven by atomic clock experiments. The closer an observer is to a gravity source (high mass), the slower time passes for them. Traveling at high speeds mimics this effect which = the twin paradox of faster than light travel. However, this type of gravity manipulation is not sufficient to alter your worldline."

He said something about the string theory comming into play. With all the extremely small strings that we are surrounded by curving our reality to be percieved as four dimensions when its really six. He said six the the string theory in development says there will be seven... But he says age and time is caused by how gravity is pulling on our cells. Or how the electrons are rotating around our nucleus's, So if anti gravity could be applied we wouldnt age, or Time and Age would MASSIVELY be slowed. He then says that the passing of time is a local phenominon depending on how close you are to a gravity source. So a singularity is opened and it is held and controlled by the gravity field they have made. So going to back to the string theory i guess hes trying to say you just fall up for a little bit... Ehh i tried to make sense but its hard when i dont really understand it myself, then again no one does since its not been made yet and probably never will... Im not saying this is all right according to him i tried my best to get it right so correct me if im wrong.

Um.. i also forgot to mention if anyone cares.. He said it takes 1 hour for every 10 years.. to go back, but its unsafe to go past 60 years.
(i dunno i just kinda threw that in there)

Either way i think this guy that wrote all this is like 10x smarter than all of us combined.

THIS is what im lost on..
The divergance between the worlds.. He says that the divergance is 2.5 percent from his worldline to ours. But when he goes back i have a diff thought about what would happen. Would the timeline undo everything he has done to get back to the EXACT way he left it. Or not? im not sure. If so how would this be ANY different from a sort of VR? a very real sort of VR based on true events that have occured. Only the computer couldnt go back perfectly.

I dunno that part i sorta got confused on... btw somone help me out?

anyway thanks to the guy thats posted this ive wasted 5 hours of my day messing around with this now.. its very interesting but now i think im getting WAY to far into something thats 99.9 percent BS.

omg i am getting carried away.. but now i wanna say...

Nature has allways had a ballence for EVERYTHING. For example, For all matter there is anti-matter. So for all time what if there was a sort of anti time? eh? that would be interesting.

This is also why some people say ghosts are real. Or actually i think that i heard this statement reading a topic about ghosts.

to answer your question cam.. the divergence thing he referenced to was about the change in a culture. So 2.5 percent of everything that encompasses the planet is different.. meaning 2.5 percent of decisions went one way instead of another.. 2.5 percent of the weather was different.. etc.. that's at least what I got for it.. Also, the divergence also references that everything he said that'll happen from now till 2015 MIGHT not happen, bc of that divergence of his worldline. Also, he said on his "worldline" y2k was a big deal. I find 2 things very interesting
one he talks about a unix crash similar to the fears of y2k, but on a much larger scale. And it's supposed to happen in 2038, I haven't heard much of this unix problem till recently, 4 years after John talked. And since he comes back from 2036, to 1975 to get the IBM 5100 to solve the problem. it seems that there's an extreme amount of foresight there. The things that really get me, if you read the entire thing (or at least the first part, everything gets repetitive towards the end). You learn alot of interesting scientific details, some of which none of us understand.. but something interesting that you'll find in the johntitor.com news section is how Hawking said that his "hawking radiation" is a fluke *this's recent*.. and how John and this guy named Darby had an argument about it where John basically says, you don't know what we know and you'll find out.. then 4 years later Hawking changes his theories thus drawing a parallel to what john spoke about. I feel that people really need to read it before typing bs or whatnot in this thread

also, his logic is very consistent.. worldlines and how to get back to his time.. it all makes sense

I read it found it pretty interesting so I'm trying to keep an open mind with it but there are a few ways to prove or disprove his claims. Try and look him up on the web.He said he was born in 1998 Florida so that means he is a US Citizen so he has to have a ss# and is probably going to school right now in our public school system so he should be pretty easy to find if you have access to that kind of info. He also said he was the grandson of the guy that progamed the computer he was sent to obtain. So if you could get ahold of his files just trace his genology back to his two grandfathers and crossrefence those with IBM personal files and if they match then he is telling the truth. Well maybe, maybe not because if I could think of it then anyone with enough time, energy, and patiens then anyone could look up the information all you have to do is know where to look. But then again if he is telling the truth then all we have to do is sit back and wait to see what happens.

if you read, it says he admits that Titor isn't his last name

really? Guess thats blows my way of trying to look him up flawed. Oh well just my $.02, But even with that you could still look up all the people that programed the IBM 5100 and track down their grandsons and see if any of them live in florida and even if all of them had grandchildren that live in florida how many could there be. I'd be shocked if it was over 6 or 7. So really it wouldn't be that hard to look through all of them. But again just my #.02

he makes the rebuttal that if he's looked for, then there's someone who must think that what he's saying is true.. and since no one can admit that, no one will search

if I had the time I would do it just for the simple fact of having something to do. But going to work full time and college full times eats up my time faily fast.

OK OK....something doesnt make sense. If there's going to be a huge WAR and the only safe place is South Africa, and few computers and such, then HOW THE HELL IS THERE GOING TO BE TIME TRAVEL AFTER THAT?

You time travel people are sooooo funny. Let me ask you this. Are you going to be put into some porter potty type of housing, close your eyes for a few seconds, open them, and then appear in 2020 or 1940? (whichever you choose). And then, how is it possible to calculate the EXACT time that you want to go to. Say I want to go to Oct 31st 2002 When I got my first ticket, so then I can not do what I did. Am I gonna appear next to myself, or will I be myself in my "past" body. I know I wont be next to myself, because then that would cause chaos! (The "past" would go into hysteria and "we" the "future" may not exist). So therefore, I would have to be in my past body. So while I'm typing, am I me in the future, or me now?? Hmmmm..........

One last point to silence you...

If one person Time Travels into the past, just one, and messes up to where they end up dying instead, or someone they know dies in the process, then the memories of that person will be erased in everyone's memory that knew the person. Everyone who's lives were changed by that persons interactions, they would have new personalities. Thus....somehow, if time travel became a popular thing, then our personalities will be changing constantly and some of us may "appear and dissapear" from now and then.

(Sorry...forgot my thought...I died for a second but went back to the past to relive myself)

It's good to have imagination, but the process of time travel is IMPOSSIBLE! The odds are better of me closing my eyes right now and having every single hot celebrity chick ring my door bell and say...."lets go upstairs." Be realistic people...some things in life ARE IMPOSSIBLE. It is soooooooo funny how people are sooooooooo gullable into believing anything they hear that sounds legit. Hey, if a PhD is smarter than me, and the PhD says time travel is possible, then he's right! That's why STUPID PEOPLE need to be gotten rid of.

only if you believe in the multiple histories theory of quantum mechanics. it proposes that there are an infinite number of alternate histories which are weakly correlated thus explaining the certain effects of quantum mechanics. read "Time Ships" by stephen baxter. it isnt much different. there was a pretty popular theory among sci-fi writers just a few years back.

Time travel does not exist simply because there is no recording of time. Time is an instant present and the past and future are merely concepts of human thought. Please remember that
