Premium gas has less energy per gallon than regular.

Pure highway miles, I usually average about 30 mpg. In town I get around 22 (lots of freeway driving).

I'm bummed now because my mileage has gone to pot after replacing my fuel pump (see question in the general tech board).

I have to take it out of town this weekend. Maybe that will clear it out. I hope!

Its weird, because I can't get anywhere near 29-31 mpg on straight highway mileage like most have claimed from other posts. I get 27 at best calculating from gas pump, highway, to gas pump. But I average 24.5 with highway/city driving like normal (read, pretty heavy on the foot) just like a few of you and this is considered good mileage?

You in particular Shenanigans, don't you get 31 mpg highway?
