It always feels that way - you just have to learn from your mistakes and choose someone who respects you, supports, and loves you. If they don't respect you, then toss 'em. It hurts, but it hurts more if you keep them and lose some of yourself through it all... and you will likely still end up chucking them later on down the line. There's only so much one person can take... every couple has their ups and downs and they have to work through them, but that's completely different from someone who just causes problems that the other person just has to deal with. I offer up the bandaid removal analogy - it hurts more for a second when you take it off fast, but hurts for longer when you try to take it off slow.

And I'm sorry about your having to make a decision, but I would suggest that you make the decision based on how your heart feels about that decision, not based on your heart's current feelings towards any one particular person who might influence that decision. If you base it on someone else, deserving or not, and you regret that decision later, there will be a lot of hate... and he isn't asking you to make the decision based on him, so.... just a girl's opinion amidst some equally good male opinions

i'd start purchasing hair dye the day Scarlett turns 13 [img]smile.gif[/img] One day I'll tell you all the things I did simply to torture my father and then you'll either feel worse or better - better prepared anyway :D She's a lovely little girl though - and smart too, so don't stress too much.

Just remember though that when you tell someone over and over that they can't do something, that's exactly what they want to do - and will, with or without your permission...
