DNC vs RNC

How come there has been over 1000 protestors arrested during the RNC but, to my knowledge, none were arrested during the DNC?

Kinda makes the Democratic followers look bad IMO.

the RNC is definitely better than the DNC. DNC was a whine-fest, the RNC is like a post-game football celebration. They almost jumped Michael Moore a couple days ago during John McCain's speech.

I believe at the DNC the protestors were confined to a fenced enclosure.

I was just kinda thinking aloud after reading some reports.

I realize there are anti-establishment people that go to both, but it seems like there is much more protest at the RNC that is getting out of hand then I saw at the DNC.

Maybe there is the same amount of protest. Perhaps its the (liberal/anti-bush) media showing more protesting against the Republicans and I just didn't see much of anti-Kerry protesting?

Yea Kerry's girls look horrible, i wouldn't let them near a TV camera if I was him. But Bush's girls on the other hand, damn.

And the people who were arrested at the RNC were arrested because they were riding bikes and blockings streets (or 100 of them were)... yes, that makes the Dems look soooooo stupid? Where did you find 1000 protesters arrested?

You said none were arrested, just showed links that showed arrests, that's all.

There is a lot more to protest about when it comes to Conservative thinking/ideals right now with the war, of course there is going to be a larger protest at RNC than DNC. What are people going to protest about in the DNC? You're trying to make taxes too low! RAISE TAXES!? It's natural to be more protests against the party in power than the party trying to gain power. Also, most of the protesters it at the DNC were protesting the two big parties, not the Democrats in general.

I just hadn't seen much media coverage on TV showing protesters at the DNC as I have of the protesters at the RNC... thats all. I was wrong when I said noone was arrested at the DNC.

The 1000 figure was on Yahoo this morning from an article from the AP I believe.
