you can shoot any gun underwater.
its either a love or hate deal with a glock. i heard about the .40 cals blowing up when they first came out.

Which one? They have like five. </font>
any of them. not only are they cheap, but they're extremely reliable. a bit bulky, but if you get anything other than the P89, they are pretty ergonomic. the P89 would still be a great gun. ruger has an outstanding reputation for their customer service too. i had a ruger P90 .45 and it was a great gun.
stay away from glocks. POS.
i have had a beretta 96 and now have a 92FS. i carry it as a backup to my issue glock if that is any testimony to how i feel about them. there is no other handgun that is more reliable and if you can call a gun sexy, beretta has claim to it. my beretta will soon be doing full-time duty at work when we get authorization to carry our own weapons again (at least until i find a nice colt 1911, but i'm in no hurry to retire the beretta to range only gun).
hi-powers are pretty good.
one of our officers swears by a CZ, but i'm not too fond of them.
sigs are expensive, but if you buy a certified pre-owned, you can probably get one for around $500.
i say get a ruger and spend the rest of your money on ammo. i prefer the P89, but the 94 or 95 are good too. you shouldn't spend a lot of money on your first gun. later on, you'll end up wanting to try all types of weapons. i've been through a lot of handguns.
I've been reading many reviews on Hi-Points, and they seem like very reliable guns for the money. The closest dealer is 40 min away, but I think I'll take a trip down there this weekend. I can get a handgun and carbine for less than what I'd pay for most of those others.

you're gonna buy a hi-point.
i'd just buy a shotput ball. you'll have more fun with it.
Hey guys. For starters I’ve always been a big car guy, I love all types of cars and can appreciate all types of engineering. I’ve always been a Chevy...
