• A compilation of mods that NEED to be done

Below I've piled up a list of mods that I feel need (pretty much want) to be done to my car that aren't ALL OUT (like NOS, turbo, sc, etc). Just the basics to make my car run its best, yet still be drivable and "streetable."

New Rearend with 3.42 gears and LSD
Taylor Spark Plug Wires
NGK Spark Plugs
Fast Toys Ram Air
1 pc Driveshaft (preferably aluminum)
Trans Am Hatch
180* thermo
Man Fan switch
Bilstien Shocks
Hotchkins Springs
LCA's
SLP CAI
Headers
Torque Converter
Coils

Please let me know if there's anything you would add and WHY. I feel after all these are done, then I can move on to and read about/get informed about the "bigger" stuff like FFF kit

stock coils are fine.

you need sub frame connectors.

SLP CAI and Fast Toys Ram Air are the same part... one of the other, not both.

a PHB would help.

Not much sense in getting headers now if youre going to get a FFF kit designed for 00 manifolds.

thanks Hawgs, knew I could count on you. Yeah, realized the headers and CAI dilemma after I posted. And by PHB, do you mean PHR? If not, what's a PHB?

I think NGK plugs are a waste on N/A cars.
MSD wires > you
Don't waste your money on a manual fan switch, you can make it yourself for a couple bucks.
I am about to get some shocks (maybe springs if the guy recommends that I should) so I'll let you know how they feel
A stalled converter will KILL your mileage down here in So Cal..
Looks good other than that and the suggestion Hawgs made about SFCs
I would also do tranny work, because a built auto owns a manual every day of the week :D
If we have a meet after Brandon gets his car back I'll take you for a ride in my car... it's slower than sh*t but shifts damn nice hehehe
